The QwikLok was specifically designed to be an all encompassing solution to the 6 major downsides of connectors: Disconnections, bare wires, poor conductivity and continuity, durability in both hot and cold, arcing and burnouts, corrosion and terminal failure. It was adapted from the common quick connect air hose chuck that are used on air tools to electrical tool and why NOT? It is simple, effective and works perfectly every time. It is a natural evolution.

The device was conceived by David Forrester, an experienced carpenter/framer of some 300 houses with his share of downtime and tool destruction, motor failures and burnouts as a result of extension cord disconnections . He designed the Qwik-Lok to set a new standard after years of design, rework, prototypes and testing. We have all been pleased to see it achieve that objective among the current users. 

David Forrester founded and is president of the David Prince Company and the former QwikLok company formerly of Calgary, Alberta.

The QwikLok  is in use in Canada and the USA.
